Is it difficult to put on a kimono??

These days, even Japanese take lessons to learn how to wear a kimono. To wear a traditional fomal kimono is not very easy, so most of us start learning it with Yukata.

Yukata is a cotton unlined kimono, especially for summer. Very casual and you see a lot of Japanese wear it in summer festivals or at fireworks festivals.

One of the reason which makes easy to wear a Yukata is that we tie "HAN HABA OBI", which is a narrow type obi sash on a Yukata.

With HAN HABA OBI, there are many kinds of tie style! We will learn some ways of tieing obi sash in the workshop.
